TV & Film

I work as a Kimono and Japanese cultural specialist and consultant for the film and television industry, and for museums and art galleries. I have curated Kimono exhibitions in Japan, the United States and Canada to educate people about traditional Japanese culture and fashion. I am currently working on opportunities to share Japanese culture and the rich history of Kimono with people in Europe and other Asian countries.

I also style Kimono wardrobes. This service is for those individuals who seek an opinion about their personal Kimono attire, helping both men and women to select the best Kimono for the appropriate occasion.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you. Please contact me for more information and bookings.

The Kimono styling and coordination/rental services we provide are based in Victoria, British Columbia, but we can also provide these services at any location around the world as needed.

We have experience working in the film industry and we have also helped coordinate Kimono and wardrobe styling for pre-production and on set for TV shows.

We know exactly how Kimonos should be styled and coordinated, and we can style Kimonos in various ways, from very traditional to more creative Kimono fashions. Our strength is in colour and coordinating Kimono fabrics appropriate to the season and to the occasion. The stylish presentation of a Kimono wardrobe is very important to us. We are very knowledgeable in the history of Kimono and its culture.

If needed, we can also help to connect you to a wide range of networks in the Kimono industry, including the supply of silk fabrics and craftsmen in Japan, as well as Kimono-related materials and artists, according to your production needs.

We hope to hear from you when your production requires Kimono and Japanese cultural related services.
